As a Sourcing Developer you have a challenging assignment within our Purchasing Strategists team with unlimited career possibilities in an international environment.
Main responsibilities
Your main task is global strategic purchasing responsibility for a specific range or material within the business area. You build, develop and secure capacity. You drive the development of production set ups to reach the best long term deal for IKEA. You are an important contributor to the product development process. You will be working with pricing, quality and availability. You are part of a global network and you have contact with trading areas and suppliers all over the world.
Experience
We believe you have a university degree within business, industry or engineering. You have knowledge and experience of industrial production and at least a couple of years of experience in doing complex business.
Personal qualifications
You have high sense of business and leadership as well as a strategic mind. You like to think outside the box. You are very communicative with high energy and good relating skills. You communicate fluently in English.
